With impassioned goals to reinvent the chamber music wheel, the Midnight Woodwind Quintet features up-and-coming composers, commissioning and discovering works that feature elements of fusion, mixed media, performance art and the merging of music from different cultures. Simultaneously, Midnight brings provocative and inspiring interpretations to traditional masterworks and lesser-known chamber music gems, breathing originality and a fresh vitality into all of their endeavors.
Out of Context
Out of Context is a contemporary music ensemble interested in challenging the boundaries of traditional programming. OOC present recently composed works alongside modern classics and newly transcribed pieces, in the belief that performing compositions in compelling combinations will positively inflect the way we listen to the music.
