OOC is an ensemble that plays adventurous music and transcriptions at the highest level. What began as an oboe/piano duo in 2006 has expanded into a dynamic ensemble of flexible instrumentation. Presenting concerts and workshops across the country, OOC brings out the passion, elegance, wit and drama in music. Our core belief is that programming should be innovative and exciting.
Midnight Winds
With impassioned goals to reinvent the chamber music wheel, the Midnight Winds feature up-and-coming composers, commissions and discovered works that include elements of fusion, mixed media, performance art and the merging of music from different cultures. Simultaneously, Midnight brings provocative and inspiring interpretations to traditional masterworks and lesser-known chamber music gems, breathing originality and a fresh vitality into all of their endeavors.
